REALITY MATRICES METHOD

The main tool of the consultant is a set of three matrix tables, that very much like geographical maps, describe three realities of human existence:

  1. The higher reality is what a person is motivated by, what he thinks to do to solve his question of concern.
  2. Inner reality demonstrates what level of inner powers prompts a person to act.
  3. Outer reality manifests external actions of a person taken to resolve his issue.

The figure below shows the general layout of any of the matrices:

STAGE 1. INITIAL INTERVIEW

The client is interviewed using matrices in order to determine his current situation — those levels of his life at which he is currently trying to find the answer to the question facing him.

All matrices are similar in structure, and passing any of them means for the client the need to answer five questions, for each of those two answer options exist. The client is invited to make a choice, guided by his inner feelings. The questions are asked in a certain sequence so that at each next step one proceeds to more and more detailed and refined view, while the choice of the answer at the previous step determines the question of the next one.

The steps of the interview as a basis for diagnosing the situation are the same for all three matrices and represent a process as a result of which one of the twelve functional levels of the body will be identified, which the client is trying to use to resolve his question:

1. The first question carries out the primary division of the entire system into two, highlighting the spiritual and material areas. At this step, a person identifies the area in the system of fundamental values in which he is currently trying to find an answer to the question facing him.

2. At the next step, the place of the considered phenomenon is identified in one of three spheres indwelled by a person: the area of thinking, the area of the subject's inherent inner powers and the area of external objects and resources.

3. Further, the place of the answer is specified in one of the four main aspects of a human being — mind, personality, will and instincts, which also correspond to four management principles of any system.

4. In the next step, we identify which of the six basic human life functions the answer belongs to. Таб. 6. Шаг 4 опроса по матрицам
5. The final step of the interview for each of the realities is the precise definition of one of twelve basic functional levels, which the client is trying to use to resolve the issue. Таб. 7. Шаг 5 опроса по матрицам
